Everything is coming together for Broad.cat 09, which will be held Friday 27th of November at the CaixaForum Barcelona auditorium. During this 5th edition, we will enjoy the participation of Quayola, Red Bee Media, Mark Coleran and Cuatro TV. Each of them is a reference in audiovisual creative material; they will share their work experience and their understanding of motion graphics, reconciling personal style with commercial success. Inside the conference section of www.broad.cat it is possible to consult a detailed programme of the events that will be taking place, as well as an archive of past editions and a video summary of Broad.cat 08. The online registration form will soon be available.
In charge of opening this year’s event is Mark Coleran, a designer specialized in software interfaces for movies such as The Bourne Case, The Island or Tomb Raider. Iñaki Martikorena, creative and image director of Cuatro TV will be next in line and will prove that inventiveness can also be applied to a general and public channel. Thirdly, Jeff Conrad of Red Bee Media will be appearing, the master behind some of the most suggestive and successful channel rebrandings in the last few years, such as BBC Three and Dave. Lastly, we will have the singular artist and designer, Quayola. Nurtured by various languages, he combines real images with digital to blur the limits between creative disciplines.
