It is obvious that illustration is having its moment of splendour as an animated graphic resource. This tendency is present more often especially in advertising and video clips; without a doubt offers a multiplicity of styles and very diverse formats. This is always positive for creativity and makes it possible for the appearance of much more personal styles inside of the audiovisual panorama.
It is also evident that not just anything works and even less so when advertising a certain product. In the end, the same thing generally occurs: the technique or graphic resource becomes a means to an end and becomes a medium capable of promoting a car or yoghurt.
In the case of Old No.7, I find this to be a beautiful piece by Brand New School (who participated during Broad.cat 2008); illustration, texture, animation, voice and music have encountered the ideal mixture to pay homage to this classical whisky.
