The 2nd of February will see the birth of Broad.cat Dual, a new event dedicated to audiovisual design. Following the philosophy of the main Broad.cat event, it will avoid the typical descriptive conference or "let me show you my reel" format to concentrate on creativity and the exchange of ideas. It will also contribute two new elements. On the one hand, a heightened level of interaction: the talks will not be monologues, they will be interviews based on a specific subject and the public will be able to intervene. The other will be the promotion of new talents: each session will be preceded by a brief presentation carried out by an emerging creative, a supporting act.
During this first edition, the subject will be "Drinking from all sources", referring to the thousand and one different sources of inspiration available to a director, beyond motion graphics. The talk will be delivered by the versatile Frankie de Leonardis, Boolab film director and the person responsible for the recent Lost promo, which was viewed around the world this past month, among other audiovisual gems. We will have Óscar González of Hove Studio as the new, emerging talent. The date is the 2/02 at 19:30h at "BAU, escola superior de disseny, and entrance is free. We will be very happy to see you all there.
