We are not accustomed to Spanish musicians creating entirely animated video clips and even less in the (frequently) insolvent area of rap, but El Chojin has accepted the challenge. Ruben García directs Superhéroe, visualizing with comic strip aesthetics the adventures of a protagonist who must rescue Innocence from the infamous Mr. Hate. But there is more: when it was time to premiere the video, the story was of yet unfinished. Fans were able to vote on their favourite outcome in www.elchojin.net. This option, which in itself is not new, adds a valuable contribution to the development of a genre which is intrinsically promotional, proving its' worth on the net by multiplying its' viral effect while at the same time, skyrocketing the visits received on this rapper's website. This time around, craftiness receives it's reward.
