Working in creativity isn’t easy, and even less so if you are the leader in your sector and are so successful that your work is a benchmark for the entire market. We are talking about creating a style. Broad.cat 09 has organised a conference featuring four essential leaders in creativity, strategy and design. The conference is not just a case of looking at a portfolio, but of understanding how these figures think, what decisions they take and how they decide to create the audiovisual culture of the 21st century
Mark Coleran will guide us through the information design he uses for generating interfaces for films such as Children of Men, Tomb Raider and Harry Potter. Quayola will take us to the outer limits of the audiovisual arts to teach us how to pass to the other side without losing our rhythm. Red Bee will be present to explain strategies and ways of working to achieve greater audiences and income, with their excellent examples Dave and BBC Three. And we will also have the key local reference point in public television, Cuatro, who will show us that in Spain there is another way of making television with meaning, television which opts for good quality and the intelligence of its viewers.
