This is without a doubt the concept of Broad.cat 2010. Each one of this year's participants, time and again, have faced projects that could have made them stumble and fall yet instead, they have been transformed into even better audiovisual design professionals.

With his 74 years of age, Arnold Schwartzman is the perfect example of images in movement. During his vast professional career, Mr. Schwartzman worked as design director for Saul Bass, won an Oscar, was director of design for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games and, among many other things, is an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.

From Rome, Fox International Channels entrusts Florencia Picco to coordinate and direct the identity for more than 180 channels in Europe and Asia, working remotely with multidisciplinary teams around the world.

Studio AKA is one of the best animation companies in the world. Philip Hunt is one of the studio partners and creative director of impeccable technical pieces that burst with personality and narrative quality. Renown brands such as Disney, Orange or Guinness have all been witnesses to their immense talents.

How big is your canvas? While many opine that television is dying, (some say it is being transformed), others like Telenoika believe that it is far better to take action and discover new ways to communicate and impress the public. Using buildings as canvases to construct impressive pieces of audiovisual paraphernalia seems like a good road to go down.

Promoting national talent is one of the many aims of Broad.cat and ADG-FAD. During the Tête à Tête on the afternoon of the 26th of November, 5 members will face the audience for 5 minutes each and show us what they're worth.

And when the evening is over and you're left wanting more, desiring to have the opportunity to chat directly with the speakers, get to know the graphic directors of national television stations or network with producers and talented audiovisual designers, come along to the post-party and show your face.
